Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Kyriakos founded Saudi Investment Group in 2014 and until today is the group’s CEO.

2019: Joined BAB Holdings (Jeddah, KSA) as Senior Advisor for Investments

2011: Joined FINEXTRA PARTNERS as a Partner. FINEXTRA merged with Chartered Associates Corp. and today maintains offices in Toronto, ON, Canada, UK, Europe and Asia.Today, Kyriakos is an Advisor for the verticals of Maritime, Mines & Minerals, Hospitality.

2011: Co-founded GreenAl Renewables Africa with the view to develop and manage renewable energy & environmental projects in the greater West Africa region.

2010: Co-founded the JV between the Republic of The Gambia State & Gallia Holdings (a private investment company) for the national sea passenger transportation sector and then Gambia Ferries Management Company (Banjul, Gambia) where he appointed as Managing Director until 2014.

2008 -2010: COO of HBTC Group of Companies (Jeddah, KSA) mainly managing the Naval Services and Real Estate arm of the group.

2007-2008: COO of Maritime Holdings (Bristol, UK) a Maritime & Naval Services firm specialized in the sea passenger transportation.

2003: Founder & Managing Director of Marine International Services Group with offices and presence in Hong Kong & Jeddah (KSA). The group offers specialized services in the sea passenger transportation vertical.

Wan Hafikah Wan Chik

Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

Ms. Wan Hafikah Wan Chik’s professional experience and accomplishments span more than 15 years in the field of corporate development. A dynamic strategist, she specializes in investment & business development consultancy; particularly in corporate restructuring, corporate recovery, fund raising, and project management in both public and private sector of emerging and developed markets.

She has built reputable relationships with major investors in various ventures and corporations across the globe. Owing to her extensive acumen, she has been responsible for approving and overseeing the execution of multimillion-dollar budgets by the investors. She is noted for her sound judgement in identifying new business opportunities, as well as maintaining good relationships with the investors.

She also brings nearly a decade of experience in business re-engineering with various top international drilling companies across the globe. She has served on several Board of Directors of Oil & Gas companies in the Middle East and South East Asia.

She does G2G work with the Economic Zone World (EZW), which is a global developer and operator of economic zones, logistics and industrial parks and the holding company of Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. She is the representative of EZW for Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Expanding her diverse portfolio further and farther, she is currently spearheading numerous ventures in the F&B sector of the KSA. She is the Executive Vice President for Skip The Q, a food delivery aggregator, and the Chief Investment Officer for the Saudi Investment Group. She also oversees the strategic development and execution of a number of high-end hospitality/F&B projects in the KSA market under BAB Holdings.

Ms. Wan Hafikah brings with her a wealth of investment and economical experience to BAB Holdings, particularly from IT, F&B, and the Petroleum sectors. An intrinsic leader and mentor, she directs every project with pragmatic passion, creating teams and leading them through complex and diverse challenges to deliver breakthrough results. She holds a First Class Honors Degree in Communication and Information Technology from Edith Cowan University (Australia).

NICHOLAS KAIRIS

Legal Counsel

Nicholas Kairis an active business and legal counsel to enterprises for almost twenty-one years, in Greece, Germany, Cyprus, the U.A.E. and the U.S. Member of the Athens Bar Association since 1998 and having established his own law firm in 2004 his fields of activity have been banking, financial and international trade law and respective transactions and derivatives, both OTC and within commodities’ exchanges, with a special focus in regard to compliance and regulatory for various financing structures, collateralization of commodities, corporate bonds and IPOs in various jurisdictions. He had many years of collaboration with the Moratis – Passas Law Firm, which was functioning as outsourced legal counsel to both Citibank N.Y. in Athens/ Greece as well as Laiki Bank in Athens. He was also able to also assist operations in the U.S. regarding issuance, underwriting and legal opinions on securities. Holds post graduate studies diploma from the Law Faculty of the University of Heidelberg in the fields of international arbitration and participated to seminars at the University of Strasburg in the fields of corporate law. Has taught specific legal contractual forms and maritime financing at the Hellenic Shipbrokers’ Association’s seminars. Speaks Greek, English, German and French

Justin Bruch (USA), Senior Agricultural Advisor

President & CEO – Global Farming Solutions Ltd

Justin has a lifetime of experience working in agriculture and has spent time studying and evaluating agriculture operations in Panama, Brazil, Europe and Africa. His strong business background and experience with large corporations provide the foundation needed to be the CEO of Global Farming Solutions. His impressive leadership and people skills enable him to train and manage large self employed workforces and establish cross-cultural relationships in diverse and often remote environments with significant communication barriers.

A native of Iowa, he grew up working for Bruchside Farms, Inc, as an original business partner, and is still actively involved with the family farming operation in northwest Iowa. Upon completing his BS in Agronomy in 2000 from Iowa State University, he spent a year in New Jersey doing inside sales and marketing for Alpharma Animal Health. He then relocated to Fresno California in 2001 and managed a multi-million dollar territory covering four states. In 2004, Justin took on responsibilities for managing CA and AZ for Novartis Animal Health. Responsibilities included budgeting, sales, marketing funds and management responsibilities for a key Novartis distribution chain.

In 2007, Justin completed his MBA from California State University-Fresno. He then moved to Ukraine to found GFS. His initial GFS project was to manage a farm for Morgan Stanley in southern Ukraine. He then expanded his management and consulting work to include operations in Iowa, USA, throughout Ukraine and multiple countries in Africa. He currently resides in Lviv, Ukraine.

Kim Johnson (UK), Chief Marine Services Officer

COO – Marine International Services Group Ltd

Kim Johnson after many years in the marine engineering field, from work shop apprentice to chief engineer and ship contractor he noted that little or no support was afforded to the vessel/fleet owner and accordingly created a hands on consultancy company in 2002 Marine Services International and dedicated solely to this purpose. A company that over the years has assisted owners and Governments around the world to improve their own marine services, enjoying both increased efficiency and profits.

Marine Services International aim is to ensure that the vessel, or fleet are run in a streamline, professional and cost efficient manner, ultimately producing increased revenue and relieving the owner of the stresses involved in the day to day running of a marine orientated business.

Kim has the vast experience built up over many years in the following fields:

• Vessel/fleet management – Vessel viability / feasibility and compatibility. The assessing of a vessel to calculate its ability to meet the demands required by the user, to asses the potential profitability of a vessel across a designated time span in accordance with its anticipated use. To make long term and ‘life span’ cost calculations, assessing vessels potential to adapt to changing needs and safety regulations.

• Crew management – Crew structure, rotation and cost efficiency.

• Technical support – 20+ years, spanning 3 decades in the Marine engineering field in Naval yards and at sea. To inspect/survey a vessel to ascertain its current condition and/or to place an accurate valuation upon said vessel. The understanding of a vessels mechanical and structural workings with the ability to advise and if required, affect repairs/improvements.

• Vessel support and repair – The costing of vessel maintenance by outside contractors/naval yards. The costing of vessel supplies, spare parts and consumables.

• Support network – A worldwide network of personnel and services that have been approved by the company, to assist owners to insure high standards of assistance, no matter where their vessel or fleet may be located.

Georgios Karakasis (Hellas)

Senior Naval Architect & Marine Services Advisor

George holds a National Tecknological Foundation (A.T.E.I) department of Naval Architecture in Athens, Hellas and he graduation dissertatation title is ” Bulk Carrier Design & Construction”. George is certified from Lloyds RS in the following Marine & Maritme Sectors: I.S.M. – For Internal Auditors, ISO 9000, 2000 – For Internal Audittors, PORT STATE CONTROL, I.S.P.S., I.S.M. STCW 95 and for DAMAGE STABILITY. Also he is a member of the German V.D.I.

In 2009 and up to date George is the Tecknical Manager, DPA & CSO (Managed Paramaxes, Handymaxes, VLs for  Willing Marine International. (Hellenic – Hong Kong Shipping Co) at Pireus, Hellas. He is the head & maintain office technical operation. Managed & Physically involved in numerous of Ship Repairs and Major Modification projects (Handymaxes, Panamaxes, VLCCs & OBBOs ship types) within China region, whilst worked with and signed relevant contracts, special clauses and settled the final accounts.

From 2007  to 2009 George worked at MARINE PLUS S.A. (Greek Shipping Co and Brokers) as General Manager for Piraeus & China Region. He  managed and contracted more than 180 various type of Repairs and Major Modification projects for Bulkers & Tankers ship types, 80% within China, Far East & Black Sea region, whilst drafted and supported most of the contracts and full quotations. From 2004 to 2007 he  was the Technical Manager DPA & CSO for A. G. Pappadakis Shipmanagement S.A. (Greek Shipping Co) at Glyfada, Hellas. Headed and maintained office daily technical operation worldwide (Europe, USA, Canada, Far East). Estimated, planed and handled numerous of repairs, technical surveys and audits. Dealt with company’s all ISM and ISPS matters and planning.

From 1999 till 2004 George was the Tecknical MGR & DPA at Amalthia Marine Inc. (Greek Shipping Co). Headed and maintained office daily technical operation worldwide (Europe, USA, Far East, Brazil, Africa, India). Supervised and handled all company’s repairs, surveys and audits such as for P&I Clubs, Class, Flags, Prepurchase, etc. From 1991 till 1999 George worked for Avlis Shipyards S.A. at Evia Islans as the Business & Commercial Manager in the following departments: Repairs Supervising – Estimation, Major modifications – Safety & outfitting, and the Design department. From 1990 till 1991 George worked Salamis island for the Hellenic Navy in the following departments: Tecknical, Steel repairs, Quality control, Stability & Hull treatment. In 1989 he  worked at Silver Carriers S.A. (Greek Shipping Co) a K.P. Naval Architecture office at Piraeus, Hellas for the Technical & Design Department.
